Have you ever wondered why there are so many people selling crap when it comes to internet marketing material? Some of these Gurus are selling stuff that could quite easily be found for free with a simple Google search, without even adding their own spin on the content.
It really makes me believe there are entirely too many gullible people out there looking for the quick fix, make thousands this instant, get rich quick schemes. Why don’t people understand that internet marketing is just like any other business?
It takes planning, work, and effort to be successful in internet marketing.
Let me give you an example.
I just read an ebook earlier today from a blogger who makes six figures online. I’m not going to name the ebook, but you’ve probably seen the advertisements for it, unless you’ve been hiding in a cave for the last two years.
This ebook was not only a complete waste of time, but gave completely basic information. There was nothing in there that you couldn’t discover for yourself by reading and searching the Warrior Forum for 30 minutes.
Here’s the entire ebook in a short list.
- Do Keyword Research
- Get a Domain Name
- Install WordPress
- Select a Free Theme
- Monetize the Blog With Adsense, CPA, & Clickbank
- Put a Lead Capture Form on the Blog With a Giveaway PDF or Email Series
- Post Three Times Daily With Keyword/KeyPhrase Laden Posts
- Ping & Social Bookmark The Posts
- Comment On Other Related Blogs
- Consider Driving Traffic With PPC
And that is everything that was in the ebook. Of course it took 3 PDF’s and over 150 pages to say that.
Annoying.
