About DarrylD.com

I’ve been involved in internet marketing, network marketing, and affiliate marketing for a number of years now. I started in network marketing before the internet became a big hit and built a business in the traditional manner.

You know. Cold calling, prospecting everyone who came within 3 feet of me, and showing the plan as many times as I could. It was sometimes fun, but not often enough. Mostly it was just a pain in the posterior.

When the internet showed up, I shifted my focus from network marketing to internet marketing and affiliate marketing. It was a tremendous amount of fun in the early days. The internet was the wild west for the first 5 years or so.

Of course along with that came the Dot Com Boom and Bust, Google becoming a household name (and a verb of all things – “Just google it”), Mobile phones, Apps, etc etc etc.

You get the idea. The last 25 years have been crazy with the number of technological advancements that have occurred.

Needless to say I’ve learned a lot. I discovered what works, what doesn’t, I spent a lot of time trying to sell stuff that didn’t, and some stuff that did. It’s been equally exciting and frustrating at times.

But the one thing that really hasn’t changed at all is people. We are all similar. We all want what is best for our family, we want to be able to take nice trips, buy gifts for friends and family, and put money away for a rainy day and retirement. I could go on, but I think you know what I mean.

So, anyway, back to this blog…

I’ve recently put this blog back online because I feel it’s time to share what I’ve learned with the community at large and not just with my close friends and associates. I sincerely hope you find something of value here that will help you in your business.

About Me

I’ve been married to my best friend for 20 years, have three kids, a dog, and two cats. I tend to write like I talk and since this is my personal blog, I may end up talking about things other than business related stuff, because honestly, there is more to life than business.

I believe in friendship, loyalty, honesty, and integrity. I hold myself accountable to these values, and expect other people to do the same.

Other than that, I just wanna have fun, no matter how serious I may look or sound at the time.
